Vagif Nuriyev is a finance professional with over four years of experience in internal auditing and financial controlling, specializing in fields such as insurance, agriculture, retail, and production. He began his career in 2018 in finance, where he has been responsible for implementing audit procedures to identify internal control deficiencies, planning audit engagements, and conducting risk-based internal audits in line with annual audit plans. His audit work covers key business areas including financial, operational, procurement, human resources, marketing, and sales audits. 

Vagif joined Baker Tilly Azerbaijan in 2022, focusing on IFRS transformation, accounting methods, financial reporting, and data analysis. A member of ACCA, CFE, and CIA, he passed all ACCA exams on his first attempt. Vagif holds a degree in Administration and Economics from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. His project portfolio includes notable clients such as Caspian Finance, Interal LLC, Azəraluminium LLC, Iodico, SR Group, Eurasia, Millikard, and Halliburton.
