Vagif Nuriyev is currently an Audit Manager at Baker Tilly Azerbaijan. He has professional experience in internal audit and financial control across the insurance, agriculture, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Vagif began his career in finance in 2018, focusing on identifying internal control deficiencies, planning audits, and conducting risk-based internal audits in accordance with annual audit plans. His experience covers key business functions, including finance, operations, procurement, human resources, marketing, and sales.

Vagif joined Baker Tilly Azerbaijan in 2022 and specializes in IFRS transformation, accounting methodologies, financial reporting, and data analysis. He successfully passed all ACCA examinations on his first attempt and holds the ACCA, CFE, and CIA qualifications. He studied Management and Economics at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
