Kanan Mammadov holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a master’s degree from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

Kanan began his professional career in 2020 as an Accountant at Veyseloglu Group of Companies, where he gained hands-on experience in accounting and financial reporting. In 2021, he joined Baker Tilly Azerbaijan, where he has since developed his expertise in audit and assurance and currently serves as Audit Assistant Manager.

Kanan’s project portfolio covers a diverse range of clients across oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, financial services, trading and distribution, retail, non-profit, and other sectors. His experience includes IFRS audits of financial statements, agreed-upon procedures, and special purpose engagements, which has given him a strong understanding of industry-specific risks and reporting requirements.
