Rustam Safaraliyev started as an Audit Manager at Baker Tilly Azerbaijan and was responsible for oil and gas industry practice in August 2009 and from October 2010, he was a director of audit and assurance department. He has a strong background in audit of energy, manufacturing, service and finance companies. Rustam has graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in business administration, first alumnus of Special Talented Groups and master's degree in international Economic Relations. He also obtained statutory audit license in 2008. Rustam started his audit career in Deloitte in 2005 and worked from an associate to experienced senior till July 2009. In August 2010, he became a member of the internationally recognized accounting association ACCA. He has participated in the audit projects in Azerbaijan as well as outside of the foreign countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia.
