Baker Tilly held a seminar on changes to the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

With the organizational support of Baker Tilly company, on January 16, 2019, a seminar on “Changes in the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan” was held at the Four Seasons Hotel.

In her opening speech, Deputy Tax and Legal Partner of Baker Tilly Narmin Hajiyeva noted that the aim of the seminar is to inform our clients about important changes in the constantly improving tax system and legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Along with Narmin Hajiyeva, the Deputy Director General of the Tax Policy and Strategic Research Department of the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan Nijat Imanov, employees of the tax department of Baker Tilly, Sayavush Safiyev and Rashad Goyushov also took part in the seminar. They provided information on the nature, purpose and other aspects of the changes made to the tax legislation, after which they answered numerous questions of the participants of the event.

The event, which was attended by representatives of about 100 companies operating in various fields, provided information on amendments and additions to the legislation, and detailed explanations were given to individual articles.
